Achievements galore eh? First it was prizes for flowers & gardens, then for
fruits, now it is for confectionery..... waiting in anticipation.....

Ricco, the prize we won was for the hand crafted/coloured marzipan 3D
fruit - mango, cashew, custard apple, watermelon, grapes & kokum. Second
place in the sweets category - a trophy. Being our first involvement in the
KFF we ...............has definitely given us the motivation to contest at
the next KFF.
Wowow! What a combination!!!...Kokum??? Last week I drank the water of
soaked kokum so as to get rid of "Hives" - my sugar level is rising just
reading about all this sweet stuff.. Louis, - Mother Nature is definitely
doing her stuff on me huh, wihout effort on my part! Anyway, Congrats again!

Our wines are fermented - not distilled - then clarified & matured over
time so are certainly not >feni! Alcohol content is about 10% unlike feni's
80% .....
Yeh, fermented ... that's how I remember our friends doing it at home in a
huge bucket just for home consumption. But answering your comment Louis, it
was a looong time ago I saw cashews being buried in the ground or whatever -
say about 30 years?? he he! Does anyone else remember this being done on
Saligao Hills - those were the good days. After that , with modern
technology, ....yes you are right, there is a machine for anything &
everything...Hey Louis, was just trying to get a smile out of you & others
since we've had the very serious topic of Salmona Spring & repercussions of
various actions, on the Net over the last few weeks... lightening up, so to
say.
Anyway, All the best in all your endeavours, & good luck for the future
competitions!
