No news from you all! Guess you all in India are sheltering from the rain.
Many more from here will be joining you there since their kids are on their
summer holidays. The others in America & Europe must be enjoying the bright
sunshine & warm days after their cold & windy winter. We are of course
sweltering & melting in this heat but no matter, we will overcome...... &
survive.
Fr. Nasciment, sorry to hear you have no drinking water. If God has been so
kind & the Heavens are sending you so much water, maybe He needs you to
collect the water, boil it & voila - you & the entire Vasco Population have
drinking water. I recall someone telling us that each house in Goa can make
provision to collect rain water for use later on. Guess you'll have to check
with the experts.Wonder how Saligao is faring in this respect. No grumbling
from sis when I called yesterday so I guess all is ok in their world....
Read Rico's mail too - Arrarim seems happy enough now that the electricity
has been restored to them. Hope this status remains for all. Rico, was
thinking of sending the mail as you requested as was busy over our weekend,
but on reading your mail today, guess we have been overtaken by events. All
the best!
Oh heard the rains have lessened, the weather is cooler & the farmers are
happy enough to lend their land to the plough or should it be set the plough
to their land? Whatever.....
This is good news Fr. Nasciment, editing of the book by Val & you meeting
with Val & Daniel to follow up on the same.
