parents are at the same home as Dad in Arpora
Oh that was Arnold! Yes, Luwell did mention about Arnold's parents &
Tania's mum having joined Mr. Edwin Saldanha at Arpora - they will have
good company & wont be lonely. It's the loneliness that gets to one as one
gets older. At least that is what my mum says & feels.
beginning to look like Santa. I hit the big five-oh last month and my
current claim to fame is that only my eyebrows are still
uncontaminated with grey ;-)
Oh! congratulations to you Kevin on hitting 1/2 a century. Forget the grey
colour, why dont you just add some more colours like auburn, russet, to
blend with the black & the grey - one can do the same with the beard (there
was no need to get rid of it) & the eyebrows (when the latter change colour
of course)
That may change after we celebrate 25y of married bliss... tomorrow (Feb
13th)!
Hey do I detect a slur on Madame? Beware! in 1st 25 years, married bliss &
all - your hair & beard got grey & after 25 years you expect your eyebrows
to change colour eh?
Naughty naughty! Maybe you just dont get enough dark pigmentation from your
veggies (vegvet?...... no dark & red meat etc. ???)
Congratulations on completing 1/4 century. All parts of the century seem to
be falling in 2007 for you Kevin. So Double Marbrouk to you & to your wife
& to your kids!
Incidently, today (Feb 12th) is Darwin Day - he would have been 198 today
if he hadn't gone extinct himself. Incidently it is also Abraham Lincoln's
b-day.
Oh gosh! all the important people & special days - how be-ooti fool - what
bliss, Kevin - you are surely blessed! Congratulations again! To all others
celebrating birthdays, anniversaries on 12th & 13th, congratulations! Is
there any other special day after 13th besides Valentine's of course. How
come you missed out on that date Kevin, married a day earlier eh? Happy
Valentine for tomorrow!
And to all who married on 14th February - wish you all a happy anniversary &
I wish all our friends on the Saligaonet - Happy Valentine for 14th February
2007.
Luwell & I will be wearing our glad rags (red of course) & dancing shoes
(not red!) & dancing the night away & then reporting for work on Thursday,
hopefully not bleary-eyed. All entertainment ends at 2 a.m. here anyway!
I might as well touch on other news & events taking place in Bahrain before
we use the sack cloth & ashes as Lent approaches & the Lenten Mission
begins. Guess there will be the usual carnival parades in the cities of Goa
over the weekend.
There is a troupe arriving from Goa taking to the stage on Thursday 15th to
enact a Konkani drama, & the Young Goans Club is arranging to celebrate
Carnival on Friday 16th with King Momo & the carnival parade of dancing gals
& boys. The whole day event should be fun & there will be more dancing of
course. At least I'll get my quota of exercise for the week without my
having to take the daily walk for next 7 days. Hooray!
