Yes, it is nicely listing the services at the Win 2016 server. So the problem is not that Win 2016 server, but in S-Alive. On the bottom of the check-tab is a pop-up menu "Authentication type" which has values: Default, IPC$ and Impresonation. Don't know what they mean, but I tried all of those. I was already celebrating, when I chose "impresonation" and it checked the status of the NT service nicely. But then I noticed that all other checks started to give alerts. Weird that changing just one check, all other checks fails!?! Now I did put it back to "default" and rebooted S-alive PC. After that those all other check are ok, but still not able to check that one Win 2016 service. Hi! Maybe a simple question, but any help is appreciated... We had an service installed in Win 2012 and were using "NT service checking" in S-Alive. We installed that same service onto Win 2016, which is located in same domain, so the same domain admin credentials are ok. I only changed the server name in S-Alive check and assumed it would nicely continue checking status of the service. But, it is now alerting red and saying: ERR: Getservice status - OpenSCManager - 5-Käyttö estetty. ...last two words in english is like: Use denied. I already checked, that I don't have windows firewall running on this Win 2016 server.
