Scrap that last request, we now have it working correctly, it was a further small change to the firewall to do with NAT translation that was casing the issue.  Thanks for your help so far.

The test I did was via the setup and yes it does have a "Default To" setup and a default message.

I actually made some progress on this and have managed to get this port open (at least for the short term so we can test) and it does appear to have made a difference but I still get an error.  The error message has gone from being error state 0 to error state 9? Any ideas on this one?
