It's actually part of a project I've been attempting for a few months
now.  It was almost finished and then Dirk released 4.0.  Since I've
been swamped at work it will be a while before I can get back to working
on it.

Basically the elements of the host file are stored in the SQL table.  A
web interface is used to add/delete/change entries then write the new
text hostfile.  Using the built-in telnet server I load the new file and
start checking.
