Dirk, My servers alive checks a port on a customers server to check that an application is running. Unfortunately since I upgraded to the new beta of servers alive it seems to crash their server after a certain period of time (although I have not pinned this down as they have complained about the software).
It uses the port connector protocol to connect to 3305. I am using servers alive version 4.0.1453.2 Standard edition on a windows 2k server. All I have in the log is:- 02 July 2003 09:30:41 TCP check: Connection is not possible 02 July 2003 09:31:39 TCP check: Connection is not possible 02 July 2003 09:31:39 Sending email message (CZ-2-Ford Darwin is DOWN) There is nothing in the event logs that can explain any of the failures. Have you any ideas what may be causing this?
