different disconnect, with the "previous" disconnect the client (SA machine) kept open connections and could crash after a while...(if you did a lot of TCP checks with a small interval).

The  protocol definitions are limited to sending on connect and sending on  disconnect.  Don't think that is enough for a full TN3270  emulation.
However sending a proper disconnect should be  possible.
