That is what I'm looking to do, but I only have the standard (not trial)
version of SA.
So, my thoughts were generate the text file, and then read it using ASP and
generate HTML from it, but I'm not having any luck finding source to do it,
and I don't know anything about programming/vb.
So I thought I'd throw it out on the list and see if Dirk thought it was a
good idea, but I guess this is the kind of thing the Enterprise version was
created for.

I'll just stick with the plain .text for now, until my company hires another
asp/VB programmer...

I use your templates btw, they're great.

Thanks a lot!

the Enterprise Edition of SA4. I've got an example of it using my
SangfroidJr templates here:

so, it's fairly easy to set up.

single check and perform a mathematical operation on them. Good for
monitoring disk space, memory available, that kind of stuff. You could do
bandwidth as well, but that would require storing the previous value,
subtracting the current amount, and using the difference as a percentage of
a whole. I know most people concerned about bandwidth are using MRTG, but
being able to alert during a prolonged period of 100% utilization (or 0% as
the case may be) would be nice.

a template so you could format it as HTML for inclusion on a website? I'm
doing this using the plain text file, but it sure is ugly when you view it
in IE.I looked all over the place, and couldn't find a way to dynamically
change a .txt file to html (ASP or Java), but I'm sure they do exist...
