No messages in the remote eventlog.
If I just put an alert to Execute Command and put
cmd.exe in the command to execute box and after the cmd prompt is opened, I go
to the cmd prompt that was opened by SA running as a service and type SHUTDOWN
-R -M \\computername
I get a message that says: "A required privilege is
not held by the client.
If I open a cmd prompt on the same system by type
cmd at the Run menu and then type the above command it works fine.
Another thing I noticed if I enter the command "net
localgroup" in the cmd prompt spawned by SA I get this:
System error 1312 has occurred.
A specified logon session does not exist. It may
alread have been terminated.
I know it has something to do with the rights that
the SA service has. I really need to be able to sent REBOOTs from SA, but
so far looks like the only way I can get it to work is to NOT run SA as a
service!
Any further ideas?
