if you create a new entry for the SMTP2POP3 check does it give the same
result?
What is the version of the pops50.ocx file?

Dirk.

Hi Dirk,

I ran ServersAlive as an app for a few days, and at about 11:45 last night,
I began getting the same error again. Here are the log file lines (same as
before):

Thursday, April 22, 2004 11:48:37 PM External COM check started
(W00000008,175)

Thursday, April 22, 2004 11:48:37 PM External COM check (W00000008,175):ERR
docheck : Component 'pops50.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly
registered: a file is missing or invalid( 339- 600)

Thursday, April 22, 2004 11:48:38 PM External COM check started
(W00000008,176)

Thursday, April 22, 2004 11:48:38 PM External COM check (W00000008,176):ERR
docheck : Component 'pops50.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly
registered: a file is missing or invalid( 339- 600)

I've left the app running with the checks failed, so if you want me to try
something before restarting it, let me know.

Nate
