Why not use the INTERCHANGE logging (make sure however to check the EXTRA INFO field since that one will contain the retrieved value, temperature in this case). Only draw-back that I see is that the interchange logging will also contain all other entries.

I have now been asked if the units can be used within a refrigeration environment which in itself is not a problem. The difference is that to comply with Food Health and safety regulations a record has to be kept of what the temperature was at any given time on any given date. I thought this would be easily accomplished using Kiwi Syslogger on another machine but all I don't know how to get the results of the check (The temperature) sent through to the syslogger. The key thing here is being able to quickly retrieve a record of the temperature for any date\time range, if its through syslogger that would be great because it'd allow me to have central storage with other site installs.
