Turned on INTERCHANGE logging and it does come back with the temperature, but it gets over written with each check.

Is there any way to build up the log so I can keep a record of the temperature over time?

Why not use the INTERCHANGE logging (make sure however to check the EXTRA
INFO field since that one will contain the retrieved value, temperature in
this case).
Only draw-back that I see is that the interchange logging will also contain
all other entries.

Subject: [SA-list] SensaTronics Monitor

Dear All,

The trial run of using SensaTronics temperature monitor with Servers Alive has been a big success. I have now been asked if the units can be used within a refrigeration environment which in itself is not a problem.

The difference is that to comply with Food Health and safety regulations a record has to be kept of what the temperature was at any given time on any given date. I thought this would be easily accomplished using Kiwi Syslogger on another machine but all I don't know how to get the results of the check (The temperature) sent through to the syslogger.

The key thing here is being able to quickly retrieve a record of the temperature for any date\time range, if its through syslogger that would be great because it'd allow me to have central storage with other site installs.

Cheers

Stephen
