It must be something like that. I installed v5 alpha
and v4 latest beta's already so many times without any issue (always on tests
system without AV installed however).
David, could you verify if there is an AV running on the
system?

Don’t know if this will help, but I received an Active-X error when installing the latest V5 Alpha on a machine that had 4.1 on it (W2k platform). I then disabled my ant-virus software and did a re-install--- error disappeared. SA runs just fine.
