We monitor ping to verify the machines are accessible.  Most of the machines we monitor are NetWare servers and I monitor utilization on the servers. I also monitor free disk space on the server disk pools, especially the pool that contains the SYS: volume.  I do monitor a couple of processes on some Windows 2003 servers.   Michael J. I'm guessing Ping and DNS are the default, especially for domain controllers, and SMTP for the mail servers, but what else? Anyone bothering to monitor disk space and/or processes etc? Any responses are appreciated.
