1) very difficult for several raisons the main reason being that it also alerts when a certain % of the entries is down. And it's not because you have 50% for 20 cycles that it's always the same 50% that is down. Also within the idea of the executive alerts is that the excutive alert receiver (read the boss) knows that there is a problem and if that problem takes too long without any real actions he needs to know.
