Yep... that's what I'm going to have to do too... I just hate to have to
manually add another alert to 100+ checks...

I had requested a change to this awhile back. It does get annoying for
the executive (boss) especially if your checks are in 1 minute cycles.
So we ended up turning it off. For the important entries I can just make
a separate alert for the boss to take care of the down to long thing.
That just makes it annoying for me.

1) very difficult for several raisons the main reason being that it also
alerts when a certain % of the entries is down. And it's not because
you have 50% for 20 cycles that it's always the same 50% that is down.
Also within the idea of the executive alerts is that the excutive alert
receiver (read the boss) knows that there is a problem and if that
problem takes too long without any real actions he needs to know.
2) I do recall this too however can't remember who that was....if he/she
is still on the list...please make yourself known to us :-)
Dirk.

1) I like the Executive Alert... but it doesn't stop! Can we add a
check box and counter that says do this ## times? Or something to that
effect.
2) I need a check for file date/time stamps... A way to check how old a
file is; is it dated today or not; is it more than 1 hour old, etc.
According to the archives someone wrote an external COM check for
this...
Thanks in advance,
