Hello,

I'm running v5 and while we had not changed a thing in SA we did upgrade our
Front end and Back end Exchange servers to SP2 along with all 2003 servers to
SP1, that's all I can think of that may have broken SA on us.

SA resides on a server that is running 2003 Server x64 edition, otherwise it's
functioning fine but when I go to test Primary SMTP mail I receive the
following error

"something went wrong while sending encrypted password error 535 5.7.3
Authentication Unsuccesful"

That's if I select ESMTP as the authentication method and use domain
adminstrator login credentials in the advanced screen.

Reason for using authentication is that we need to alert our t-mobile
phones/PDAs and otherwise our Exchange server treats it as relaying and does
not allow these to get out. This has worked for the past 2 months or so without
issues.

If I take out our t-mobile e-mail addresses and only alert to local/domain
email accounts it works fine, problem is clearly with the authentication when
trying to send out to our iPAQ PDA's

ANy help would be greatly appreciated, I have exchange activesync to get my
corporate mail on the PDA, but it was so much more convenient to use SMS and
directly email to the phone as it makes a nice pop-up message when it's
received and alerts you to a problem.

Thank you,
