Hmmm.. I should still have the original disk somewhere from when I downloaded
the complete image from Mat's site in 94/95. Will have to hunt through lots of
disks!

It was probably Mat who uploaded it to the ftp site back then - when both the
sam list and nvg site were in it's infantcy. There was no realdisk image formats
back then, and most people used PAK compression (one of the various compressors
on the Sam that would turn a bunch of files into one file, and then extract onto
a floppy when CALLed), or just raw code files. I guess that's why it was just
the code file on nvg and not the disc image with it's own MSDOS program to
extract it.
