Sounds very much like what Alan Miles had mentioned years ago when the Sam was still in development - an adaptor to plug Spectrum hardware into the Sam. And we know Mike AJ had done the same way back in the early 1990's to use a Videoface Spectrum digitiser on the Sam. David let me know about that one for a Sam Snippet in issue 3 of SR.
