Well that would be a tiny bit OTT I think...

At the minimum I would have expected enough to be able to store DOS-type
file names (this requires 12 characters).  A more sensible approach might
have been 14-char file names (which allows a spectrum-type name to be
followed with a dot and a three-char extension).
