Or you could always crack open the SAM PSU and connect the modulator in its own box (or to the scart socket). Several people have suffered from "colour loss" and it's turned out to be lack of 12v supply. I think Ian or Andrew had this problem. Was the colour restored when the 12v came back? In other words, did the lack of 12v knacker the colour encoder? Andy
