Sounds promising in that case :-)  I'd still be interested to hear the
results of running some known timing sensitive software on it, to be
100% sure.

It certainly sounds like a very cool machine.  If contention is possible
I guess a SAM mode should be possible too - though it won't be a trivial
task!

Do you own one or know anyone who does?  I'd be interested to hear some
direct feedback about it, on top of the details I've read on the
Sprinter forum.  I couldn't find many other comments on the the web or
Usenet...
