I'd probably use the largest - 100uF 10V, although Maplin are a rip off in
terms of their pricing.
I've also never encountered any problems using the Comms Interface as is,
I've tinkered in the past with serial comms to a modem many years ago and
never had any problems regarding transmission errors.
