In fact the whole ^Rk is:
aakhuste rudra pashustaM juShasvai
eSha te rudra bhaagaH
saha svasraambikayaa tam juShasva
Keith literally translates as
The mole is thy beast, O Rudra, rejoice in it
This is thy portion, O Rudra with thy sister Ambika rejoice in it.
Swami Dayananda has seriously disagreed with such literal translation. He
interprets 'aakhuH' as remover of disease, and 'ambika' as vedic lore.
He translates as:
O learned man! accept the vehicle which uproots all diseases. O learned man!
accept the food with thy knowledge of vedic lore.
Since we have no idea as to what the original d^RiShThaa meant we can choose
whatever is acceptable to us!
