A friend of mine has sent me a message that he has got published the English
version of his late father's commentary called "BHAKTIRANJINI" on the famous
devotional poem
in Sanskrit called NAARAAYANEEYAM.
I had a doubt about the grammatical correctness of the word BAHKTIRANJINI.
When I looked at Apte, I find that there a word ranjinii meaning indigo plant.
There is a word ranjanam meaning giving pleasure. Can ranjani be used to mean
giving pleasure. There is no word as ranjini.
Then there is also a doubt whether ranjana can be applied to Bhakti or only to
a Bhakta.
I look forward to comments from learned members.
Thanks.

Further to my posting on the above I wanted to say that in Apte's dictionary
the word given is ranjanii and not ranjinii.
