Namaste,
(Set 1)
In gayatri mantra, is it bhurbhuvah svahah or bhurbhuvassuvaha?
(Set 2)
Why the first 3 mantras in achamanam end with svAha, while other end with
namah? Is it because we sip water while chanting them?
Ladies are restricted to tell svAha while acamana, why?
I mean, why to offer to pancha pranas, when we are offering naivedyam to
particular deity?
Praanaya svaha, apanaya svaha
..etc...
Is it that, as god lives in pranas, we are offering to them?
Please excuse my ignorance and reply me.
Dhanyavadah,
Bharadwajasagotrah Manda Krishna Srikanth Sarman
(One more doubt here
Is it bharadwaja + sagotrah or bharadwajasa+gotrah or
bharadwaja+sa+gotrah?)
