AtmIya JambunAthanmahodaya, namo namaH.

yad bhavatA "mahAtapA" ityasya zbdsya vigrahasya vizaye likhitam, tad aham
pUrNatayA dnyAtum na azknavam.

i could not understand completely whatever u have written regarding the vigraha
of the word mahAtapA. i think if mahAtapA is treated as karmadharaya, it has to
be dissolved as mahat tapaH and the samAsa is mahAtapaH and not mahAtapA. i
guess u have wriiten something on this point. i could not understand it
completely. will u pls explain ur poin once again?

regards

yogesh kale.

dear mr vaidya, namo namaH

i wrongly stated that pANini defines karakam as "kriyAnvayi kArakam". i am
sorry for that. i read this definition in some book while studying the
kArakaprakaraNam from laghusiddhAntakaumudi.

thanks and regards

yogesh kale.
