Hello,

My name is Nelly. A woman named Nandu was nice enough to direct me to this
Sanskrit network. I do not know anything about Sanskrit. I am an artist and
working on a project. I was wondering if someone could help with some words.
I was able to find the word child (female) and child (male) written in
Sanskrit, but is there a form written that is unisex. I also wanted to write
the word "safe" written in Sanskrit. I found safety, but I would rather have
the word "safe".

Thanks,

Nelly

Hello there,

I am looking for an accurate translation for "watched over".
Is there any way you could direct me as to where I might be able to find
this, or could you provide me with this information?

I need it for a project I am working on addressing how the artwork when it
is copied numerous times is not always an accurate portrayal of the
original meaning.

Thank you very much for your time.
Warmest regards,

Jacinda Sedgley

Respected all,

I never came across any Sanskrit term related to the below "English" terms.

1. Divorce
2. Divorcee (Male & Female called)
3. Re-marriage of the divorcee.
4. What is the term given - when a boy & a girl stay together without
getting married.
5. Any know story (in puranas) in these terms.

With Regards,
Srikanth

I never came across any Sanskrit term related to the below "English"
terms.

1. Divorce

Monier-Williams does not have the word 'divorce' in the 1333 pages of his
Dictionary!

Certainly Rama's abandonment of Sita in Uttarakanda is a kind of divorce, but
I can find no noun in the sarga describing the act [7.45 G.P. edition], nor in
Sita's oath when she returns to the earth [7.87.13-16]; just an instruction to
his brother to take her away.

  jd

  This is most interesting....

May the long-time Sun shine upon you,
all love surround you,
and the thgiL raelC within you
guide your way home....
