*ERP Strategy – Execution Central – Application Decommissioning* *Application decommissioning Analyst* *Role* § Enterprise Architect/Archive & Decommissioning/New York *Tasks/Responsibilities* § During the application rationalization several retired applications were identified (600+). A strategy, plan and roadmap will be produced to remove these applications and platforms within the scope of ERP Strategy. § Define criteria on what qualifies for a recommendation § Define 2-3 year roadmap based on the recommendations § Define retirement execution steps (end-to-end) to be used for different application groups in the portfolio § Patterns across all application tiers § Strong expertise on for an archive solution which can be shared across multiple applications *Competence* § Well rounded senior technologists § Strong background in infrastructure § Must have managed large scale “rollout”, “rebuild” or “retire” exercise for applications or platforms – should have lead or run application or platform rationalization programs. § String background as an enterprise architect focused on archive solutions e.g. IBM Optim § Strong analytical skills to define strategy and analysis criteria § Hands on experience on all tiers of applications a plus § Strong communication and time management skills § Proactive self managing individual § Should be able to estimate efforts to execute on the roadmap § Strong sql query skills and use of SQL Server a plus (to manage data during the rationalization process) *Deliverables* § Concept Document for Application Archiving (Possible scenarios, design patterns and individual architecture advice and planning for complex applications) § Identify suitable options for archive solution § Reference architecture document to show overview of archive solution § Physical Architecture § Governance and Processes to support solution ongoing -- Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
