Depending on the breadth of skills, the option may be there for them to take one more step past HTML in to the Java framework integration. I do not have this skill set currently, so we will need someone with lead abilities (estimating, decision making, best practices, etc.). *POSITION #2:** Data Architect*** * * *- Interviews would take place Thursday or Friday this week:* *Data Architect Key Criteria:* - Must have strong data architect background with requirements gathering for OLTP systems (reporting or data warehousing is not sufficient) - Data Modeling - SQL Skill - DDL Knowledge - DFD Knowledge - UML, XML Schema, DTD, naming standards and metadata management experience (recommended) - Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint (Moderate level) - For technology, SQL Server/Oracle DBs, Erwin for modeling tool. - Health care experience preferred. *POSITION #3 **System Analysts * * * *- Interviews would take place Thursday or Friday this week* *System Analyst Key criteria:* - Previous or health care experience strongly preferred - Working with the business team to extract system requirements for the IT development team for the operations applications. - Facilitating requirement reviews and final project approvals - Facilitate the gathering of application/reporting requirements from various business areas through interviews, in-person, and JAD sessions - Be able to ask the right questions to get to the real business needs and dive deeper into initial business requests - Analyze business requests and be able to make technology needs and requirement assessments to meet the strategic direction of the organization - System Use case and technical requirements gathering/documentation, including non-functional requirements gathering experience - Must have previous web site/ portal development experience - Experience in Greenfield/new application development experience strongly preferred *POSITION #4 : **Data Warehousing Senior ETL Developer*** Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Supports testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product. Helps prepare both program-level and user-level documentation. Opportunity for a Data Warehousing Senior ETL Developer in client's data warehousing and BI analytics area. *Summary* This position is for a senior application developer who will participate in the systems development life cycle for maintenance, enhancements and new development projects in Data Warehouse/Data Analytics environment. As a member of the Delivery Management Team, the candidate will work with project teams to design, develop and deploy ETL software needed to support a variety of business needs. The position will report to a resource manager, but will be matrixed to project managers for completion of project activity. *Responsibilities* A successful candidate is expected to research, evaluate, identify alternative approaches, recommend, design and code efficient and effective solutions for challenging problems ranging from small to large work efforts for low to high complexity problems. A successful candidate will comply with standards and guidelines related to the design, construction, testing and deployment activities within the SDW environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate collaborative skills working within a project team of diverse skills and will bring communication skills including oral, written and presentation skills, creativity, and problem solving skills to a challenging environment. *Qualifications* Ø A Bachelors Degree in computer science, business or other relevant degree; or equivalent experience, Ø 7+ years, in one or more aspects of information systems development. Ø 4+ years of UNIX (AIX preferred) development environment. Ø Multiple programming languages (shell scripts, C++). Ø Experience with Autosys, an enterprise scheduling system. Ø 4+ years of Native SQL against relational databases, preferably UDB/EEE. Ø 4+ years Datastage Parallel Extender ETL tool. Ø Demonstrated ability to deliver functionality in two or more programming languages within a single development environment. Ø At least two to three years of experience in complex, cross-departmental projects involving multiple platforms Ø Able to create high complexity detailed technical design specifications. Ø Able to act as project technical lead for high complexity projects. Ø Able to act as a lead developer responsible for the planning, completion and coordination of work activity for projects involving more than one developer Ø Effective communications with all levels of internal and external customers and staff, including issue resolution, negotiation of project related priorities, and completion dates. Ø Able to lead walk though of design documents and provide technical leadership over programming team.
