Need only GC/Citizens/EAD’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* * * *Position: DB2 DBA (Telephonic Hire)* *Location: Chicago, IL * *Duration: 6 months*** ** The DB2 Application DBA will provide deep DB2 subject matter expertise and technical leadership across all Data Warehouse projects and technology decisions. The DBA will be proficient in Performance Monitoring strategy and implementation. The DBA will conduct Performance Tuning on specific SQL and DB2 sub-systems and provide assistance with application integration. Assists Data Architect with physical design specifications. Understands logical schemas and generates and maintains physical schema (tables, stored procedures, indexes etc.) as per the physical design specifications. Designs, develops and maintains all DDLs. Creates and maintains ER diagrams. Supports development and testing teams with environments needs, code-promotions and program deployments. Ensures the quality of data and integrity is maintained. Develops mechanisms and procedures to load data for development, testing and performance engineering activities. Develops and documents Database design/implementation impacts based upon outcomes of system monitoring and evaluation activities. Interacts with Data Modelers/Data Architects, Application Architects, Technical Lead and ETL developers to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements.
