*Need Data Conversion Lead in CA - 3+ Months contract!* Position : Data Conversion Lead Location : San Diego,CA Duration : 3+ Months Responsibilities: Architect the data conversion and application interface approach and strategy. Develop and manage the trial conversion plan and timeline that accomplishes the goals of the conversion process and meets project deadlines. Direct trial conversion process to ensure proper execution and testing of conversion scripts. Manage data conversion tracking, metrics and communication. Work with Test Lead to monitor and evaluate trial conversion results. Define data validation criteria for each trial conversion and communicate to Data Lead. Facilitate business sign-off on the success of each trial conversion and at cutover. Work with Technical Architecture Team and Service Introduction Lead to define cutover requirements. Build the detailed data conversion portion of the cutover plan to include approvals, communications, data conversion/migration, code promotions, infrastructure changes, and validation steps. Identify and schedule resources required to execute the cutover plan. Manage execution of the cutover plan. Manage cutover tracking, metrics and communication. Manage cross-release ownership of cutover issues and interdependencies. Ensure adherence of cutover activities to all quality management plans and standards. Ensure all required Sarbanes-Oxley/Compliance documentation is collected and stored. We had some discussion that while technical understanding is important, our architecture team can assist in this space. It is critical that we have someone with good: Project management skills Communication skills Data analysis skills Bottom line is that a lot of this role will be trouble-shooting around why things are failing, communicating that information, building / understanding trial conversion metrics, and making sure all the moving pieces come together.
