| Duties & Responsibilites : | Responsibilities:-
- Manage day to day activities, strategic direction and vendor management. Serve as single point of contact to upper management for all project related activities.
- Identify potential Business Interruptions, work with other teams to develop safeguards and implement recovery procedures in the event of a business interruption.
- Safeguard data and data capture operations by identifying potential problem areas and single points of failure.
- Develop, maintain, and implement the enterprise DR Plans, Risk Assessments, and Application and Technical Strategies together with other teams.
- Develop safeguards, review Business Recovery Plans and Procedures governing the Operations associated with the IT organization.
- Responsible for insuring that Business and Regulatory Requirements are adhered to and that implemented recovery procedures and contracts are costs justifiable.
- Works closely with the Business, Application and Technology teams to understand goal and objectives, clarify requests and requirements.
Required Skills:-
Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or technical are required. PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery certification.
- 5+ years of cross functional business experience including one or more following: technical project management, IT Disaster Recovery Management, and customer relationship management, vendor relationship management.
- 3+ years of direct project management experience on medium to large IT projects working with a defined project management methodology and standards practices.
- Working knowledge of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery industry standards, practices, methodologies and solutions.
- Experience managing IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity from an operation and strategic perspective is desired.
- Knowledge of IT Infrastructure principals.
- Experience working with outsourced IT service delivery is a plus. |
