| Duties & Responsibilites : | As a member of the Capital IQ Technology team, our Technical Business Analysts are expected to:
- Perform detailed analysis of content and data processes using database query tools.
- Create detailed technical design documents using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Provide guidance during the quality assurance process to ensure the integrity of delivered data.
- Apply project management methods throughout the SDLC to ensure timeliness of delivery.
- Coordinate communication with internal members of both the Technology and Product Strategy teams in all phases of product development.
Core Requirements:
- Bachelors in applied sciences program or an academic program where critical thought is emphasized e.g. Philosophy, Linguistics (if the latter, then relevant applied science coursework is required e.g. CS minor) or relevant long-term professional experience.
- Understanding of the SDLC
- Understanding of financial services industry is preferred
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with relational databases
- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills |
