| Duties & Responsibilites : | Specific Job Duties:
Administer multiple enterprise wide SQL Server 2008 production, development and staging database environments;
Optimizes enterprise wide database performance by analyzing and tuning stored procedures, creating indexes and views;
Creates and implements security models, including use of Active Directory;
Works with application developers in tuning databases to ensure high application performance, including database schema design;
Develops database store procedures, tables and views using Microsoft SQL and Visual Studio components;
Ensures developed databases and component's adhere to agency standards; and
Prepares and executes data conversion/integration plans using Stored procedures and SQL Server Integration services.
Qualified individuals must include a current resume. Please note the start date below is just an estimate. The actual start date will be negotiated and the duration is anticipated to last 2 to 6 months.
Mandatory Requirements-The selected individual must have:
5 or more years' experience as a Database Administrator;
3 or more years' experience with SQL Server 2005 or 2008; and
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and Visual Studio.
