Duties & Responsibilites :	Middleware application support including: application deployment, configuration support, troubleshooting, setting up new environments, migration from development to QA and production, disaster recovery, security, performance monitoring and resolution, and optimizing and securing environments based on industry and system standards. Qualifications: - Strong technical skills with emphasis on supporting middleware solutions and application servers such as JBoss and WebSphere.· BA in relevant coursework or equivalent experience. Experience Required:  - 3+ years experience installing, configuring, and patching application servers such as JBOSS, WebSphere or Weblogic. - 3+ years experience installing, configuring, and patching web servers such as Apache, IBM Http or IIS. - Integrating backend systems utilizing JMS, JDBC, and LDAP. - Monitoring system and application health including analyzing system/core dumps and logs. - Strong understanding of application server and web server load balancing and fail-over. - Ability to anticipate issues, analyze and resolve problems in a self-directed manner; work effectively with all levels of personnel across multiple functional areas and locations. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under strict deadlines and as part of an afterhours on call rotation. - Very good verbal and oral communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to document complex systems and effectively relay this information to employees. Desirable Skills:  - Experience with HP ALM or Quality Center. - ConnectDirect setup. - Control M administration. - WebSphere Business Integration Server Foundation (WBISF), understanding the WBISF components (ProcessChoreographer, BPE database, JMS) - WebSphere MQ. - Experience using CA Wily Introscope. - Familiarity with J2EE, or C# architectures and code - UNIX server administration skills.
