-2 positions – one more Front-End UI focused ,the other Back-end focused.
Project Information:
The Web Apps is AngularJS UI – JSON with a Spring and Hibernate Back-end. Runs on Websphere with Groovy on top. There is some multi-threading.
Technologies and Tools:
- Java 1.7 (J2EE: JMS)
- View: JSP
- Frameworks: Spring
- Web Services: SOAP and Apache CXF
- JDBC: High level SQL experience a plus for the back-end role.
- ORM: iBatis, Spring,
- DB: SQL/DB2
- App Server: Websphere
- Deployment: Gradle
- Testing: Boxx
- ETL/Scripting: IBM Stack/WAS
Development Methodology:
Currently following a combo Agile/Waterfall methodology – Prefer someone with Waterfall.
Team Dynamics:
Interacting with Developers, Architect, Data Architects.
Skills Needed:
Front-end
- AngularJS
- Groovy or some other functional programming tool.
- Java/J2EE
- Bootstrap CSS framework
- IBM Filenet a nice to have
Special Notes:
- UML Skills a nice to have but not a must
- Data Analysis skills a plus.
- Strong understanding with development principles.
- Ability to interact with Architects, Data Architects
- Continous Integration a nice to have.
Back-end role
- (8+ Years) Java/J2EE web development Experience
- (7+ Years) experience working with databases of significant size.
- Spring/Hibernate
- Primarily back-end work.
- Writing queries with a lot of complex design.
