-The Scrum Master plays a key role in the execution of an agile like software development methodology.
-Candidates are expected to exhibit strong knowledge and background in Information Technology particularly in project management and application development management.
-Scrum Masters are primarily responsible for a dedicated agile team.
-The Scrum Master leads dedicated teams to deliver business functionality through development and quality assuranceexecution provided bysubject matter experts on their teams.
-The Scrum Master works with Product Managers to ensure timely delivery of prioritized requests generated by the client.
-Act as Scrum Master for a dedicated scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work.
-Scrum Master will facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos
-Scrum Master will assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed
-Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing
-Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our product team. Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams.
-Perform Project Management like responsibilities: produce status reports, facilitate meetings, manage dependencies between teams, and manage risk.
Scrum Master Requirements:
-8-10 Years’ experience in project management and iterative development
-Understand software development processes and procedures
-Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
-Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
-Understand backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition
-Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices
-Strong knowledge of Project Management fundamentals as defined by the Project Management Institute in the Project Management Body of Knowledge
-Knowledge and competency in the project schedule building process
-Experience in planning, organizing, leading, and facilitating cross-functional, matrix organized teams.
-ScrumMaster (CSM)
-Scrum Master Other Position Parameter:
-Master’s Degree a plus
-Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus: Guidewire, Amazon Web Services, Rally and Daptiv
-Certifies Scrum Master (CSM)
-PMI Agile Certified Practioner (PMI-ACP)
-PMP Preferred
