The team utilises state-of-the art technologies to develop technology platforms largely comprised of in-house proprietary applications that support the Fixed Income Rates business globally. The Fixed Income Rates business aims to be one of the leading liquidity providers in the derivatives and the Government bond markets, and to offer an integrated sales, trading and research service to the client base comprising investor business, corporate, financial institutions and hedge funds. *Main Duties* The requirement is for a senior developer to join the Fixed Income E-Trading team. Candidate is expected to take a lead role in the architecture and design of the next generation execution platform. This will involve FIX connectivity, low latency messaging and an internal matching engine. The components will be written in C++. There is both Linux and Window OS in the environment. The candidate should be a mentor to less senior staff and there will be opportunities for line management responsibility.
