Hi all,
I am new to SAP DB and thus far a bit puzzled I have managed to install all (or at least I think all) of the required components on a Windows XP environment.
I am trying to create/register a new Instance or Server so that I can create a database inside there. I am using Database Manager and when I try to use the Register Database wizard I get a “-4 communication error”. How do I get around this, there is not much in the documentation. There is no -4 error in the messages docs. I have SQL Server installed could there be a conflict here?
