Hi Uwe, Sorry for any confusion.
The main error is that I cannot create a database on a Linux server, using DBMGUI on a Windows PC, when setting Log-mode Dual. This has been previously discussed on the list, and it was suggested a fix may be forthcoming. The subtle additional error I encountered, was that changing the settings back to Log-mode Single was not enough - I had to go back 1 additional step and lose all of my other database settings. A knldiag.err is attached and shows the crash when the DB tries to access the Log mirror, even though it has been set to Log-mode Single. Richard.
