Hello Daniel, thanks for your answer. But it didn't work with the rpm upgrade. At least I couldn't get a database up and running so that I had to go back to my old installation I backed up.
I now try to install a new kernel with sdbinst(7.4) in parallel to rpm(7.3). Hopefully this works better. To migrate the data, I learned that I have to extract the data and import them in the new version.
