If you wish to use Satchmo 0.7, you can't use Django 1.0 or Django 0.96a Try using this Django snapshot if you want to stick with 0.7 http://www.satchmoproject.com/snapshots/django-trunk-8130.tar.gz
However, if you're going to be developing a Satchmo store, I'd recommend starting with satchmo trunk (check it out with the svn command) -Chris On Sun, Sep 21, 2008 at 8:53 AM, Marc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Thank you Chris > > I have Django 1.0 and Satchmo 7.0 installed. > "python manage.py satchmo_check" executed in src/mystore/ returns the > same error as above : "Error: cannot import name newforms" > > For testing purpose, I installed a second Ubuntu partition on my hard > drive and tried to install Satchmo 0.7 with Django 0.96a (instead of > 1.0). > All went well until I tried "python manage.py satchmo_copy_urls" which > returned "Error: Your action, 'satchmo_copy_urls', was invalid" > > Hope this can help you... > > > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Satchmo users" group.
