I know a few folks have done this in the past so I thought I'd see where it's going wrong.
Using a default set-up I got £9.99 in my invoices. I changed the rml templates to declare UTF-8 encoding and now I get £9.99. I also have "encoding = 'UTF-8'" in trml2pdf.py The database also uses utf8 for the whole stack. If anyone has any suggestions of things to try I'm all ears, because I'm running out of ideas on whereelse I may need to change anything. The rest of the site copes fine, just the invoice so logically it's something to do with the PDF creation but although changing the encoding removed some of the cruft it hasn't fixed it completely.
