Right now, we're talking about bringing in soldering gear, buying
Boarduino kits, and soldering them together.

Robert Eickmann & Jon Dugan sort of jointly & independently came
up with the basic idea of doing something with electronics.

Jon Dugan is estimating $25 for a Boarduino kit, $35 for kit +
breadboard & stuff, and then $50 for kit + breadboard + soldering
  iron.

That said, we have soldering irons amongst us, as well. I would
say $25 is what's really needed for someone to participate, since
  it's mostly soldering work.

I think the idea is that we would be doing this over 2-3 Saturday
  Houses.

The work is light, fun, interesting, different, and you can talk
while you're doing it, though it might mean you might need to ask
Jon Dugan to unsolder something for you because you used the wrong
  capacitor. {;)}=

  Take care,
    Lion Kimbro {:)}=
