Follow-up Comment #13, task #16584 (group administration): Dear sir/madam,
I've carefully read the LGPLv3 again. There is something I want to declare here: 1. The reason I want to chose LGPL but not GPL is that I want this library can be distribute as glibc but isn't forced by the GPL license to extend this library's value. 2. Since LGPL wrote that anyone who distribute this library should obey 5 criterion, I will further follow that license to distribute other codes. 3. I am sorry I misunderstand the word in HowTo file in comment#11 and I hope you could refer to the previous version of codes that I uploaded in the attachment(That is file #56427). Sincerely, John Cage [comment #12 comment #12:] > It seems to me, you misinterpreted it, again. COPYING.LESSER should contain the text of the GNU LGPL. > > Please read the LGPL once more. The text is far from simple, but since you use it for your package, you should understand it very well; if you don't, you may end up with an unredistributable package, sooner or later. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?16584> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.nongnu.org/
