 No problem. While I seem to have found a fix for the original JACK issue,
 it appears that lag() is now suffering from a memory leak again. Not sure
 if you are aware of this.

 If you can sort both these issues out in time for new year, it would be
 great. (I see I client then, so would be nice).

 The strlen issue only seems to be in ./ocaml-bjack/src/jack_wrapper.c
 (though you want to check add comments ./ocaml-speex/src/speex_stubs.c
 too, not sure if that needs it). It's a 30 second fix for you.
