 Hi !

 I have some doubts about the use of {{{Unix.select}}} in the network
 timeout loop.

 Could you please test with the attached patch (removes this loop) ?

 (To apply, to to {{{liquidsoap/src}}} and do:
 {{{
   patch -p0 < /path/to/file.patch
 }}}

 This might also be interesting for you other issue !
