 I am not sure it is related to metadata. Faad decoding has always had this
 issue, which seems more related to faad, or at least our use of it.

 In HTTP streams using faad, metadata are passed as for mp3, using ICY
 updates. Hence, after being extracted, they should not change anything in
 the encoded stream. Furthermore, the timestamp do not match :-)

 But yes, I agree with David, faad needs some work. Probably not right now
 for me since we're already very busy fixing issues for the next release
 (thanks for your report by the way, perfect timing !)..
